Leon loved his community and family and devoted his entire life to uplifting, supporting and encouraging them to live and work with love, wisdom, and vision. He was a surrogate father to many of the young men and women who grew up in “The Valley”, often providing them with fatherly advice and guidance.
His favorite piece of advice to his family, friends, and young people everywhere was a verse from the book of Proverbs.” “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
